Pleasant for Weekend Parades

While the end of the week was cool and cloudy, temperatures still managed to stay slightly above normal. Things will be turning decisively warmer again over the next few days, however.

Saint Patrick’s Day will begin with patchy fog and lingering clouds, but more sunshine will develop during the afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s to near 60 in most locations, except along the immediate coast where an onshore wind will keep highs closer to 50.

Sunday will boast more sunshine, and warmer temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 60s in many locations, which means it will be mild for area parades.

In South Boston, temperatures will be near 64 as the famed parade kicks off on Broadway. In addition to Southie, Scituate also kicks off their parade at 1 PM. Temperatures will be a smidge cooler, but still near 60.
