Tranquil Travel & Turkey Forecast

A quiet stretch of weather continues into the holiday, making for smooth travel and pleasant Thanksgiving activities.

Wednesday will start off chilly, with lows around 30, but we’ll warm to near 50 by afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy during the day thanks to a storm passing offshore. That storm will also make it breezy along the coast. Overall, there won’t be any weather related travel issues across the Northeast.

Skies will brighten as the storm pulls away on Thanksgiving. For late morning area football games, including the Hingham-Scituate game, temperatures will be in the upper 40s. Later in the afternoon expect highs around 50.

Shoppers on Friday will be greeted by more sunshine and warmer temperatures well into the 50s.

Have a pleasant and restful Thanksgiving!
