Heavy rain will overspread the area during the pre-dawn hours of Friday, and it will continue through about lunch time. The morning commute will likely be slower than usual. The afternoon will still be wet, but the precipitation will gradually start to lighten up. Final rainfall totals will range from 0.50-1.50″.
Along with the rain, winds will be very gusty out of the east and southeast. Like the rain, winds will be strongest during the late morning through the lunch hours. Peak gusts are likely to reach 45-55 MPH, strongest right along the coast.
Clouds will hang tough on Saturday, with a few random sprinkles or flurries left over. High temperatures will also fall back into the 30s on Saturday after jacking up into the upper 40s on Friday.
