Unsettled Through Week’s End

Wednesday’s rain lasted all day and totaled 1.48″ in Hingham. Combined with rain and snow melt from the rest of February, the month’s total climbed to 6.7″. That’s nearly 3″ greater than average!

Thursday will remain mainly cloudy and mainly dry. A few random, hit or miss showers will still roam through. Temperatures will reach the upper 40s.

As temperatures fall overnight Thursday into Friday, keep in mind that any random rain showers will turn to snow showers. A few places may pick up a dusting-1″, especially southwest of Boston.

The daylight hours of Friday will also be cloudy and primarily dry. Like Thursday, a few random hit or miss showers are possible.

Temperatures will settle back into the 30s for the weekend, with more clouds than sunshine.
